Heat-Generated Cooling Techniques:
The National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) is evaluating heat generated cooling techniques for vehicle climate control systems because they have the potential to be efficient cooling sources. Some of the techniques being evaluated are described below.

1.Metal Hydride
2.Magnetic Cooling
3.Absorption
4.Desiccant: For latent portion of split system
